The Oberon Escape Strap is an integrated rescue safety device designed for electrical hazards that is sewn directly inside of an Arc Flash Suit coat and is made of 100% Kevlar cord material.
The safety standby person (or first responder) can use the built-in non-conductive rope to rescue a shock or arc flash victim. Also available in a vest, the escape strap is more effective, practical and easier to manage compared to a rescue hook. The escape strap doesn’t require testing and is much easier to use versus a 6′ or 8′ pole with a hook at the end.
